August 28, 2025: The University of Florida

 Hey Diary!

It's a completely new world in college. Classes at the University of Florida are far more rigorous than those in high school. Since I started my criminology major, I feel like I'm moving closer to my objective every day. The outstanding instructors here have given me even more motivation to study criminal law. I still have my encounter with Sarah in the back of my thoughts. Knowing the true extent of the suffering caused by domestic abuse motivates me to put forth more effort. On the weekends, I help at the nearby women's shelter, and it feels good. Although the stories these women tell are tragic, they inspire me to keep moving forward.
