April 14, 2022: What is Justice?

 Dear Diary,

In class, we were going deeply into several court cases. We discussed the role of prosecutors today and how they represent the interests of the victims. I kept thinking about how crucial that position is and how prosecutors have the ability to transform lives by seeing to it that justice is done. I sense that my interest in criminal law is intensifying. When someone is unable to defend themselves, I want to speak up for them. However, there's one topic in particular that interests me: domestic abuse. I didn't know much about this subject prior to today's session, but it has stuck with me.
